Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how VerifiedSchema (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use verifiedschema.com and related services (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account information. Email address, name (if provided), password hash, and authentication details when you create or sign in to an account.
- Brand and website data. Brand/company profiles, website URLs and domains, page content we fetch for schema generation, assets (such as logos or favicons), and generated JSON-LD.
- People associations. Email addresses you invite to associate with a brand, verification status, and—when the invitee completes verification—first name, last name, and LinkedIn profile URL. Archived associations retain an archive date until permanently deleted by the brand owner.
- Install-script and traffic signals. When the VerifiedSchema script runs on a customer site, we may receive page URLs, timestamps, user-agent information, and related delivery or collection events used to operate schema delivery and show traffic summaries in the dashboard.
- Communications. Messages you send us, and transactional emails we send (verification, magic links, password resets, and brand association invites).
- Technical logs. IP address, browser type, device information, and diagnostic logs needed to secure and operate the Service.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate users and send account or association verification messages
- Generate, store, and deliver structured data for customer websites
- Show brand owners active and archived people associations and related status
- Power public association lookups that reveal whether an email is associated with brands on the Service (including active or archived status)
- Detect abuse, debug issues, and protect the Service
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us host, send email, store data, or operate infrastructure, under obligations to protect it
- Brand owners for people invited to or associated with their brands
- The public, to the limited extent that association lookup results (brand name and active/archived status for a queried email) are available on our marketing site
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, preference storage (such as theme), and essential Service operation. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work if they are disabled.
5. Data retention
We retain account, brand, website, schema, traffic, and people data for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Brand owners may archive or permanently delete people associations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records may remain where we must retain them for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International transfers
We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise a request, contact us at the email below. You can also update some account information in the dashboard, and brand owners can manage people associations they control.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
