Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of VerifiedSchema at verifiedschema.com and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

VerifiedSchema helps customers manage brand and website information, collect page content, generate and deliver structured data (such as JSON-LD), associate people with brands via email verification, and look up whether an email address is associated with brands on the Service. Features may change over time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for your account credentials, for activity under your account, and for keeping your contact information accurate. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Customer content and websites

You retain ownership of content you submit (“Customer Content”), including brand details, website URLs, and people you invite. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content as needed to operate the Service—including fetching public pages you designate, generating schema, delivering install-script responses, and showing association lookup results for emails associated with brands you manage.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit Customer Content and to install our script on the websites you connect, and that doing so does not violate law or third-party rights.

4. People associations

If you invite someone to associate with a brand, you confirm you have a legitimate basis to contact them for that purpose. Invitees may provide first name, last name, and LinkedIn profile information during verification. Brand owners may archive or permanently delete associations. Public lookup may disclose brand association status for a queried email.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including abusive scraping or overload of our APIs or install endpoints
• Submit malware, deceptive content, or content you do not have rights to process
• Misrepresent associations between people and brands, or use lookup features to harass or unlawfully profile individuals
• Reverse engineer the Service except where permitted by law

6. Third-party services

The Service may rely on third-party hosting, email, storage, or other providers. LinkedIn and other third-party sites are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, and branding, is owned by VerifiedSchema and its licensors. Except for the limited rights granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.

8. Confidentiality

If either party receives non-public information from the other that is marked or reasonably understood as confidential, the receiving party will use it only to perform under these Terms and protect it with reasonable care. This does not apply to information that is public, independently developed, or rightfully received from others.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SCHEMA OUTPUT, CRAWLER RESULTS, ASSOCIATION LOOKUPS, OR TRAFFIC ANALYTICS WILL BE ERROR-FREE, COMPLETE, OR SUFFICIENT FOR ANY PARTICULAR SEO, LEGAL, OR COMPLIANCE PURPOSE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERIFIEDSCHEMA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify VerifiedSchema against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your Customer Content, your websites, your people invitations, or your misuse of the Service, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if needed to protect the Service or others, or if the Service is discontinued. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by nature should survive will survive.

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Texas will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use personal information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
